Cardinal Vincent Nichols

Cardinal Vincent Nichols, giving an enthusiastic and wide-ranging keynote speech at the Proclaim '15 national evangelisation conference in Birmingham, called on delegates to focus on three 'C's:

Divine Guidance

“Charismatic Forms of Guidance as stepping
stones to a hope filled future" by Father Pat Collins
Divine guidance is a major source of hope because
it leads us into the future that God has prepared for us.
As Prov 11:14 points out, “For lack of guidance a people falls.”

Archbishop Vincent Nichols - "The Lure of God"

Vincent Nichols began as a college chaplain and parish priest in Liverpool, and held a number of educational posts; he was a special adviser to Cardinal Basil Hume, and was given temporary charge of the Westminster diocese on the latter's sudden death in 1999.

He became Archbishop of Birmingham, and was appointed to succeed Cardinal Cormac Murphy-O’Connor early in 2009.

He opened the 3rd season of Silence in the City talks in October 2009.
